I've visited this site many times and decided I'd better join. I use to do my fishing out of bass boats. Cpt Ken Daubert from Florida got me into kayaks 3 years ago and I haven't looked back. The bass boat hasn't been out of the garage since. You'll find me fishing the lakes in the southeast part of our state this year and I plan to hit Lake Fork for the first time this summer.

Thanks for the welcome! I never really gave this site a good look over until this week and so far I like what I see. Looks like a great place to share experiences and ideas. It appears that most of the kayak anglers in Oklahoma are up in the northeast part of the state, but maybe I can change that. I use to go up on Grand with the "other" boat, but I've focused my attention to the lakes in the southeast. Sorry guys, but the bass are bigger down here. Come on down sometime, I'll put you on the hawgs. There's no feeling like the one you get when set the hook on a hawg and it takes your yak for a ride!
