Mike from PA

Postby Onoku » Tue Mar 13, 2012 11:32 pm

Hey everyone,

I just recently got into fishing (last year) and I think I may have found a new love. I have only been out about a dozen times, but I am hooked! I am in the military, so I have plenty of opportunities to fish in different places. Currently I am in Arizona and the few spots that there are to fish around here are over-fished so I haven't really gone much lately. My next assignment will take me to Alabama though, so hopefully this summer I will be bustin' some big bass!

Eventually I would like to get myself a Kayak so I can get off of the shore and into those good fishing spots. I look forward to getting to know everyone here and learn all that I can.

Welcome aboard!! Check out your base recreation office. Some bases might have kayak rentals, also look for demo days and ask around on base for anyone that have ones you can test out to find what you are looking for.

You know, that is a good suggestion. I have never once gone to MWR rentals and seen what they have to offer. I really need to take and see what they can do for me.

Welcome to KBF! I've never fished Bama but I've seen plenty of big bass caught by KBF members out there 8-)
