does anyone know where i can find a cheap kayak trailer? it doesnt need to be new or fancy. i lost my kayak hauling suv and need another alternative.

X2 - I paid $200 for my HF 1500# trailer that came in a kit. I let my son put it together and it's lasted four years and still going strong for my kayak hauler - has made several cross-country trips too.

i couldnt find the 1500# one. do you have any pictures of your set up?

I bought this one from Harbor Freight, 40-1/2" x 48" 1090 Lb capacity on sale currently for $220.
They also have the 40" x 49" 870 Lb. Capacity with 8' rims for $190, but I like the idea of 12" rims for highway speeds.
The main up-grade you need to do is lengthen the tongue & remove one of the leaf springs on each side to smooth out the ride.
