Those last lines mean more than I can say. I am home. I appreciate that very much. I was and am I guess a Mark 1 , Mod 0 Boatswain Mate. When I retired I was a LCU Craftmaster. I now teach at the Army School of Transportation at FT Eustis, VA. I wore all colors of flight deck jerseys but purple and green. Deckape is a term affectionately earned because we have strong backs and weak minds. But everyone runs when Bos'n yells go!
Bos'n mate? Weren't you the one on the 1mc with the dang whistle?
Sheesh....
I meant the last lines... and you will find that here... we all mean them.
We will laugh at you will you share your failures, then help you up, dust you off and help you figure out why and offer advice on avoiding it in the future.
