***OFFICIAL OHIO AEP SEPTEMBER TRIP TOPIC***

Postby w2n » Mon Apr 09, 2012 10:22 am

Ok Gang here it is. I have the go ahead to use my vacation time for fishing and by God that's the way its going to go down! 8-)

So... My vacation starts on September the 8th, if I burn a personal day and call in sick (*cough* *cough*) one day I should be able to protect the start date so I can be down there on the 8th at least. I would of course like to be down there on that Friday night (the 7th), but I'll have to cross that bridge when I come to it, ya know what I mean? Anyway, this will be set in stone for me, so I hope at least a few of my fishing buds can make it.

AEP!!! SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 8TH AND 9TH thru ???: CAMPGROUND "K"

I think the campsite location could be discussion topic, but I also really like how easy it is to find "K", I really like that spot up on the hill, and I really think that pond that's at the north end of K has potential given enough time (didn't that one guy that knows Walter catch a 24 incher back there?)... but we could look at alternatives if y'all want to.

There is a ton of info contained in these posts for those who want to check it out:
viewtopic.php?f=95&t=6878&hilit=AEP
viewtopic.php?f=95&t=7421&hilit=AEP

And I will post more info as soon as I get back home and can get on my computer there.

Lets start talkin'. 8-)

Yeah man... You'll spend about as much time on the road as you would in the water. :(

Yah. I will consider carefully. It is a nice place, the fishing is ok, and hanging out with the KBF crwod is alway a good thing.

Yeah... we talked about that before how we could be back home and catch much better fish than what we were catching down there... but man oh man, the potential. ;)

We really need to get all Indiana Jones and walk a mile plus to one of the more secluded ponds. That has to be the ticket.

dumb bass + lures = happy me

Wade, do you happen to have GPS coordinates for K? I can't find on google maps....
