My little girls first fish!

Postby devildog4329 » Wed May 16, 2012 2:49 am

Well I took the munchkins out to the local fishing Derby this weekend and both of my girls caught their first fish.

My oldest Mackenzie is 3. I would cast out for her and hand her the pole. She ended up pulling in two 12-13 inch rainbows. It was awsome! All i did was cast and take them off the line.

Brooke my youngest is 1 and a half. Again i casted out and let the wife hold the rod. She hooked one and we let Brooke reel it in. She was having a blast. She played with the fish but neither Kanzie or Brooke would give them a Kiss o matter what their Dad said.

Here is a pic of Kenzie and her first Fish. I am one proud daddy!

I can see a lot of up and coming memories being made!!! And so it begins. :D
Nothing better than seeing the joy on your kids faces when they catch a fish! Nice job. Hopefully they stay with it.

Hopefully they stay with it.

Well my oldest is definetly a Daddy's girl so the chances of her spending alot of time on the water looks pretty good.

Thanks for comments guys.

My boys love to fish (hence why I take them out at least once a week).

Its great to see their smiles and excitement.

Congrats to you and your girls. That's a moment you all will never forget. It makes me proud to be a fisherman when other anglers take the time to get their or someone else's children to the water! WAY TO GO!!

That's awesome!!! Hopefully you took a bunch of pictures. Those are the type of memories you look back on for a long time. Believe me, they will be going off to College in what seems like no time! :)
