What kind of material did you use under the dubbing? Look like some type of yarn maybe?

I stacked 4 layers of orange craft foam under some orange dubbing to form the "Cheeto Fly." It floated great without any floatant, the dubbing helped float it right at the surface film.

I have heard of the corn fly but never the cheeto fly but as long as it works.

I have caught carp on the fly before and they are under rated as far as a game fish. This video makes me want to get out and catch some.

Great video, thanks for sharing.

I will guarantee you two things: 1) you will hook fish and 2) you will lose every one that dives for cover if you take the 3wt and potentially get the 3wt broken!

The instant you hook them they dive for the rocks and logjams, and it's straight up nasty right there. I was using my 9wt and it was all I could do to keep them from burying in the cover!
