If I remember I got mine in back in March, but I still haven't seen a dime from them.

I think it ended April 30th and I don't believe the Cores were part of the deal; just Chronarchs, Curados, and Citicas (all new for 2012).

Thanks, makes me feel better. I have all the Curados that I need and picked up a few Core's about 2-3 months ago just to see how I would like them. Since then the Curados are not getting out of the garage much. Still like the Curado's, but the lightweight, and smoothness of the Cores have me spoiled.

I bought two cronarchs the day the rebate started & BPS had the reel trade-in going. Submitted my rebates that day and had themm three weeks later. Might just be a backlog at this point.

NOPE...not seen a dime. And the worst part? I really didn't NEED the reel, but I couldn't pass on a Citica at $30 off retail. Still a good reel at full retail, just really rubs me the wrong way to entice sales with rebates and then not come through on their end of the deal. Marketing firm probably just figures we dumb southern redneck bassers will just forget....but hell, that's BEER money! And we never forget BEER money.

I agree entirely. I even used the trade in at the same time so i got $60 off a citca, well if i ever get my rebate it will be $60 off that is....

I may have to call those fools at Shimano and see what's up.

Actually your "bump" on this blog got me motivated; I sent an email to Shimano customer service today, and it wasn't one to tell them how much I loved my Shimanos. Now granted, I would be SHOCKED if they replied, but it made me feel better.

Oh well, you live and learn and I added a Citica to my inshore line-up and I would never complain about having too much tackle.

I sent an email to customer service myself so we will see what happens. I figured i would go with the be nice approach for my first contact to see what they say but if that doesn't get me anywhere i may have to use my years of operations experience including working in a call center myself to my advatage :)

Got a response today.....

"The rebates have been taking closer to 10 weeks. I sent an email to check the status of your rebate. Several checks were cut and mailed last week. As soon as I have an update I will contact you."

I'm not holding my breath.
