In short, I've become an unadulterated (or adulterated, depending upon how you look at things...) freshwater kayak fishing NUT! In fact, I can be fishing on the nicest of bass boats and find myself wishing that I were in a kayak.

I moved from Oklahoma up to the Finger Lakes Region of Western NY going on six years ago and I have been kayak fishing for about as long. I like to write and I'm working on promoting the sport of freshwater kayak fishing. I believe that our sport is really going to take off among freshwater anglers in the upcoming years and I want to be part of it.

Oh, and when I'm not kayak fishing, I'm a college professor and do field biology research.

Tim from Texas. My front door is the Red River and several hundred other great fishing spots. If it swims I will try and stick a hook in it. But I love them LMB and speckled perch best. I sold all my other boats and have come to the dark side of the Kayaking addiction. I push a Fish-N-Dive. Glad to be here and like the looks of this site. Bent rods and stretched drags too all.
