i noticed on some other fly swap sites that they limit the people to 10 or so. each person ties 10, they send them and a self addressed box to the meister. the meister in return sends one of each persons flies back to each tyer. so, essentially, you tie 10 of yours, and you get 10 assorted back.

is that how this one will work?

That's how most swaps work essentially. The only big difference would be number of people and number of flies.

Yes that is how this one works except you will tie 11 flies if we get the full 12 people, send them to me in a self addressed and postage paid box, enevelope, etc, I will divide them up and then send them all back so you will get one of every type of fly.
If we get 6 people tying then there will be 5 flies to tie as you dont need your own fly right? Unless you want to tie one extra forthe Fly Miester that is controlling the tie!!!!!! Which is always very nice to do. ;)

Hi All;

Just found this site from a posting on FAOL by Kayakfish.

I'd like to join the swap and tie a Chartreuse and white congo hair baitfish on a size 6 stinger hook, my killer bass and crappie pattern last year.

Here's where I learned to tie it.

Nice looking mouse fly. I have to get busy on mine. I hope to try for some smallmouth later this week.

Thank you. I have to tie these and I have to tie a bunch of ants for a local swap so I'm keeping busy. :D

Hey yall it's been a while, and I'vebeen busy with school but would love to jump back into things with a swap. I'm gonna double check the sign-up list but I think I'd tie a Cat's Whisker if i can still join and I'll try and dig up a picture soon. This is my most practiced pattern and I did a fly swap last year so I'm confident yall will enjoy these and mine will be on time for sure.
