Tidal Potomac River Raid

Postby Jeff Little » Wed Apr 11, 2012 10:25 pm

Who's up for a tidal largemouth river raid on the Potomac? I would like to have one some time in May. I know that May 12th is a day to avoid, as YakAttack is having a tournament in central Va that many of us will attend. I was thinking Mattawoman or Leesylvania or Occoquan River as a gathering point. Before I start researching sites and dates, who would be interested? We have a lot of guys within a few hours drive of the tidal Potomac. It would be great to build a few more bridges within KBF.

Jeff, that tourney date is actually May 18th.

Depending on the date, I'm game if not out of town. Sister having party for her husband on 12th. I know the Tidal Potomac has some big largemouth

That sounds like fun. I'll see if I can make the drive.

Tonight is the first time I noticed it was WHISKER! That makes so much more sense I've been thinking for a year, "man. I like bourbon, but this guy REALLY likes it!" I've even told friends of mine, "hey, did you see that post the Whiskey Wrangler made?"...Yeah I've even been trying to rationalize it... I thought maybe your job was to transport the casks around the distillery or something. -knobcreekman

May 12 is Mother's Day weekend isn't it?

Jeff, are you thinking tidal greenies or snakeheads?

I know a VA license is good on the Potomac, but does that include the creeks in Maryland?
