The Realtree Fishing KBF TRAIL Series Powered by Dakota Lithium begins on January 28th – 29th in Polk County, Florida with some big changes for the new year. First, the entire KBF Trail series has been streamlined to provide more accessible qualifying opportunities and more clearly defined rules to all KBF competitors.
Second, while KBF weekends still comprise two single day Trail tournaments, the Dakota Lithium Double Up Program has been added to provide more financial incentives and prizes. Dakota Lithium Double Up spans both Trail event days and an angler must be registered for both days in order to Double Up. Additionally, anglers who sign up are also eligible for Dakota Lithium Big Bass.
Finally, Polk County, Florida fishing will be in full pre-spawn modes when the KBF Trail and KBF TENvitational kick off. Book your lodging and travel, and prepare for another amazing weekend in Florida!
ABOUT KBF TRAIL EVENTS
- KBF competition adopts a Catch-Photo-Release format. Eligible fish are submitted by competitors to the Fishing Chaos app for judging.
- KBF Anglers may win prizes and register for additional prize opportunities, including the Dakota Lithium Big Bass and Dakota Lithium Double Up program.
- KBF Anglers earn points towards: Farwide KBF Angler of the Year and the KBF Rookie of the Year presented by Rogue Fishing.
- Qualifying opportunities include 2023 KBF Trail Series Championship and the 2024 TENvitational.
- Qualifying opportunities for the 2024 Kayak Bass Fishing National Championship
- Eligible Anglers can compete in the KBF TENvitational, too!
- Points for January KBF Challenge Series in the host state’s monthly event
- Opportunities to meet and fish with local KBF AmBASSador Series clubs and trails
