REQUIRED PERMITS — In addition to a valid State fishing license, a daily permit of $10 per vehicle and $10 per trailer is required. [Source]

COVID-19 REQUIREMENTS — If you’re outside of of Maine, VT, NH, CT, NY, and NJ, as of today you will be required to have a Negative Covid-19 Test, (we have rapid test places in Maine) or Quarantine in Maine for 14 days. This current order runs until 9/4 at which time the Governor will be updating. Hopefully expanding the safe states.

MANDATORY PRE/POST COMPETITION WEED INSPECTION — Maine requires a weed inspection before and after each event. Friday night there will be a mandatory inspection of your kayak on campus. After Day 1, you bring your kayak back for the Day 2 check in and get your kayak inspected again.

CAPTAINS MEETING — Friday night Capt. Meeting at Snow Pond Center for the Arts will be mandatory. Maine laws are different than other states so it’s important that you come
We strongly suggest staying at the Snow Pond campus. This will help keep all of us together, and less concern from residents with all the “out of state” license plates. It’s also inexpensive, and will be serving good and drink.

EVENT ID CARD — An official KBF Event ID Card with the proper Event ID Code must appear in each photo submitted for scoring. Codes are posted on the KBF Website Identifiers page and appear in the TourneyX Pro App dashboard at 6PM the evening before competition. No substitutes.
