Submissions will be turned on at 6 p.m. EDT (Eastern Daylight Time) Friday (Day 1 group) or Saturday (Day 2 group) and turned off at 8 a.m. PDT (Pacific Daylight Time) the next morning; however, the fourteen hours of competition for each time zone are:
    • Eastern: 6 p.m. to 8 a.m. EDT

  17. Photo Submission Deadline: Saturday (Day 1 group) or Sunday (Day 2 group) at 8 a.m. for the predominant time zone of the state in which you’re competing (end-of-competition time) is your photo submission deadline. If you are in the Eastern, Central, or Mountain time zones, you may notice that the TMS will still allow submissions after 8 a.m. your time. That’s to allow anglers in time zones to the west of you to upload fish. Their competition starts after yours and ends after yours, but they, too, must have their photos submitted by 8 a.m. their time. ANY PHOTOS SUBMITTED AFTER 8 A.M. FOR THE TIME ZONE IN WHICH THE MEMBER IS COMPETING WILL BE DENIED.
  18. Scores and Ranking:
    • The combined length of up to two (2) bass caught and submitted during Day 1 or Day 2 competition will contribute to each competitor’s score.
    • Event ranking is determined by the total score (length) for any photo(s) beside each Competitor’s name on the Leader Board when judging and verification is complete.
  19. Cash Prizes:
    • Cash prizes are rounded to the nearest dollar.
    • 10% of field pay-out. One cash prize is paid for every ten registrants. (For 1-19 registrants, one place pays. For 20-29, two places pay. For 30-39, three places pay, etc.)
  20. KBF BONUS BUCKS: Depending on number of registrants, bonuses are paid in addition to cash prizes to 1st, 2nd, and/or 3rd Place finishers if they are enrolled in KBF’s contingency awards program no later than midnight CST the evening before competition. [Info] {Enroll]

    • Active Participants’ AOY points will range from a maximum of 300 Points down to 60 in increments of no more than eight (8), with each angler’s ranking determined by his score.
    • KBF AOY points from this event will be categorized as  “Challenges” Points on the KBF AOY Points chart and will count toward KBF 100 Challenge Championship eligibility.
    • To be considered an Active Participant, one must upload a photo of a bass that meets scoring standards or, if none were caught, a photo that meets all photo requirements except that the Measuring Board is empty, with a score submitted as 0.01″ (Note: KBF recommends taking such a photo and submitting it at start-of-competition time so Competitor qualifies for at least the minimum Participation Points and to ensure Competitor has an approved measuring board, KBF Identifier Card with Event ID Code, and a functioning digital camera.)
    • Registrants who do not compete, or who fail to upload the required “0.01-inch” photo of an empty measuring board, will be awarded 360 Registration Points.
  22. 2019 KBF National Championship Qualification: Awarded to top 10% of field, rounded to the nearest 10, minimum one at 10+ registrations. If recipient has previously qualified, the award does not roll down.
    • 10-14 Registrants (rounds to 10): 1st place qualifies
    • 15-24 Registrants (rounds to 20): 1st and 2nd qualify
    • 25-34 Registrants (rounds to 30): 1st, 2nd, 3rd qualify
    • 35-44 Registrants (rounds to 40): 1st through 4th qualify (etc.)
  23. Reward Distributions: a 48-hour Dispute Period commences when Event judging and review are complete and the Tournament Director announces preliminary results. When all disputes have been resolved—no sooner than 48 hours later—prizes, bonuses, AOY Points and KBFNC qualifications are finalized and posted on this page. Cash prizes are then distributed via PayPal Funds Transfer using the email address provided by Competitor during event registration. If KBF requires that a Competitor provide an IRS FORM W-9, prize distribution to that Competitor will occur after the completed, signed and dated form is received.
