FishUSA KBF State Challenge Series Champion Format

Here is how it works:

  1. To be eligible, purchase either a KBF AmBASSador membership or Premium membership here: https://www.kayakbassfishing.com/join/
  2. Note: Premium Membership makes you eligible to fish KBF TRAIL events, too!
  3. Register for events at https://fishingchaos.com/

The State Challenge Champion will be determined by:

  • Best 3 monthly event scores (Monthly Challenges only)
  • Best single Weekend Warrior Challenge score
  • Anglers earn 600 points per Challenge event, with 6 point decrements (Monthly Challenges but NOT Regional Challenges or One Night Stands).
  • 900 points for the Realtree Fishing KBF Challenge Series Championship presented by FishUSA, with 9 point decrements.
  • Challenge Series events can be paired with KBF TRAIL events, too. For example, anglers competing at the Realtree Fishing Kissimmee KBF TRAIL presented by Dee Zee  in January can also register for the January Florida KBF State Challenge as they begin stacking points toward both the KBF Angler of the Year or Rogue Fishing KBF Rookie of the Year titles. Points earned in out of home state Challenges may be included in your best three overall point scores.

Cost breakdown: $46 to register per event: $35 to payouts, $3 admin fee, $8 held for Challenge Series Championship payouts.

The Realtree Fishing KBF Challenge Series presented by FishUSA begins on Fishing Chaos on January 1st in 15 states. They are Alabama, Arkansas, Arizona, California, Florida, Mississippi, Georgia, New Mexico, Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, North Carolina, Virginia, South Carolina and Tennessee, and registration is open. Get signed up and ready!

As noted above, your 3 best scores from any state will count. Going on vacation? Bring your kayak, and fish some new, out of state waters to earn points!
