The Realtree Fishing KBF TRAIL Series powered by Dakota Lithium is returning to the California Delta on June 24-25, 2023! It’s been five years since we fished the Delta. At the previous visit, Gino Quizon emerged victorious from a field of 100 KBF competitors. Since that time, the west coast has produced a new generation of kayak bass fishing talent. Every year, a couple of them seem to shake things up in the KBF Trail Series.
KBF has had one previous stop out west in 2023, having fished Lake Havasu in March. Bryce Gibbs and Anthony Garcia won that weekend. Currently, Utah’s Chris Spencer is the top ranked KBF competitor from the western states, but Spencer, Gibbs or Garcia could make a late push ahead of the KBF Trail Series championship to once again shake things up!

ABOUT KBF TRAIL EVENTS
- KBF weekends comprise two single day Trail tournaments and the Dakota Lithium Double Up Program which spans both days.
- KBF competition adopts a Catch-Photo-Release format. Eligible fish are submitted by competitors to the Fishing Chaos app for judging.
- KBF Anglers may win prizes and register for additional prize opportunities, including the Dakota Lithium Big Bass and Dakota Lithium Double Up prizes.
- KBF Anglers earn points towards: Rogue Gear Co KBF Angler of the Year and the KBF Rookie of the Year.
- Qualifying opportunities include 2023 KBF Trail Series Championship and the 2024 TENvitational.
- Qualifying opportunities for the 2024 Kayak Bass Fishing National Championship
- Points for KBF Challenge Series in the host state’s monthly Challenge Series event
- Opportunities to meet and fish with local KBF AmBASSador Series clubs and trails
