Realtree Fishing KBF TRAIL Series Presented by Dee Zee
OVERVIEW — KBF Members can pit their skill against other kayak bass anglers on the national level. KBF TRAIL Series Tournaments are qualifying events for the 2023 KBF TRAIL Series Championship October Fall 2023 in Clay County, Florida. That’s the same place and time as the 2023 KBF Challenge Series Championship and the 2023 KBF PRO Series Championship.
Entry fee for KBF TRAIL Series Tournaments is $125. The KBF TRAIL Series Championship Entry Fee is $250.
2023 KBF TRAIL Series Tournament Payouts are represented by a chart on this page. After processing/admin fees and a $15.00 Championship holdback per angler, 100% of the Entry Fees will be paid out at each event.
2023 KBF Angler of the Year Points will be awarded according to performance to every KBF Member who registers to compete in TRAIL Series Tournaments. First Place earns 600 AOY Points, Second place 594, Third 588, and so on, dropping by 6 points with each step down in rank. Anglers receive 60 AOY Points after registration and then a minimum of 120 points are awarded after any participant enters a score-able bass.
2023 KBF Angler of the Year and Rookie of the Year national ranking will be the sum of:
• Top four (4) scores from 2023 Realtree Fishing KBF TRAIL Series Tournaments (600 points max at each, totaling 2,400 max, with 6-point decrement per step down in ranking per place)
• 2023 KBF TRAIL Series Championship (900 points max, with 9-point decrement per step down in ranking)
- Ties for AOY and Rookie of the Year are broken by 2023 KBF TRAIL Series Championship ranking.
KBF TRAIL Series Championship Qualification — KBF TRAIL Series Tournaments are qualifying events for the 2023 Realtree Fishing KBF TRAIL Series Championship. Qualifications will be awarded to each KBF Member who finishes in the top 25% in rank (one for every four registrants), with a minimum of 25 per event. No roll-downs are awarded if anglers finishing in the top 25% are previously qualified.
2023 KBF TENvitational Qualification — Realtree Fishing KBF TRAIL Series Tournaments are qualifying events for the 2023 Dee Zee KBF TENvitational. Qualifications will be awarded to KBF Members finishing in the top 10% in rank. No roll-downs are awarded if anglers finishing in the top 10% are previously qualified.
