    Refund Policy

    KBF tournament entry refund terms and procedures.

    Refund Request Deadline

    Refund requests must be received one week (seven days) prior to the competition start time. Requests for refunds after competition has started will be denied.

    Administrative Fee

    An administrative fee of $5.00 is charged for all refund requests.

    Low-Entry Event Credits

    For events with five or fewer competitors, there will be no payout. However, competitors will enter subsequent events for free to earn KBF State, Regional, and National AOY Points until reaching a minimum of six participants. Once more than five competitors is achieved, all monies held from events with fewer than five will be paid out.

    How to Submit a Refund Request

    Refund requests are handled through the Fishing Chaos tournament management system. Log in to your account and submit your request through the event management portal at least 7 days before competition start.

    Refund Types

    • KBFNC Full Refund — $300
    • KBF Partial Refund — $100
    • KBF State Challenge — entry fee refund
    • KBF Membership — $25 or $50 tier

    Refund requests must include your PayPal or Venmo information for payment processing.
